Ray Hills inspired the book with his deep love for the town he grew up in, the only place he calls home.

The goal for The Town I Crow About is in its title.  The love Raymond has for East Millstone is so deeply rooted, that in his company, his stories practically tell themselves. Not only is East Millstone rich in history, it is treasured by its people on a united front, keeping its legacy alive.  Raymond grew up in this small New Jersey town, in the arms of a closely knit, loving family that supported learning and adventure beyond the backyard.  

The hope is to keep our promise to those who have been waiting for this book, and to branch out beyond the community to reach New Jersey historians and those who enjoy an entertaining tale about what being a kid was really like in a time without internet or cell phones, when days were filled with a fishing pole, curiosity, and love of life.
